We have lots of different kinds of jewelry, bracelet for our wrists, piercing for our nose, ring for our fingers, earrings for our ears and lots of others. But we don't have one for our eyes, do we? Well, now we do. Check out the picture below:
This thing has existed for quiet some time but I don't think we could find one here in Malaysia. It's known as eyeball jewelry or extraocular implant. I wonder which sounds more attractive, eyeball jewelry or extraocular implant?
It was first developed in Netherlands back in 2002. The Netherlands Institute for Innovative Ocular Surgery claims that it does not interfere with the ocular functions, i.e. the visual performance and mobility, and patient satisfaction remains high with no side effects noticed after a follow-up of more than one year.
The procedure requires that both eyes be immobilized with anesthetic drops, and that the layers of the eyeball where the implant is situated to be separated by the injection of liquid. That definitely sounds safe and not risky at all right? Take a look at this video for proof

I couldn't help but notice these things during my visit to the mall today. They were on sale amongst many other torturous-looking cosmetic devices on the shelves at the beauty section.
The one on the left is a face up roller. You basically roll it onto your cheek to lift up your face. The next one is a Hanasuji roller which is supposed to shape the bride of your nose. The one on the right is a 360° slim leg roll massager. What a name lol. You roll it around your leg twice a day and you'll get those slim, long legs in no time.
If you've always wanted the high-cheekbones look you saw on models, or have the slim legs so you could wear slim-fit jeans with confidence, maybe you should give these a try. Well, at least they're cheaper than plastic surgery =P
I'm not sure of it's actual purpose since everything was in Japanese except for the name, bust roller. The picture was helpful though.
